Enabling Tech Hubs to support Developers and Startups in building low cost end-to-end IoT solutions. The program provides:

01 Capacity Building

This phase develops the technical capabilities of entrepreneurs and startups to build IoT solutions. The program provides IoT bootcamps through Tech hubs in Africa, online IoT training courses and hands-on MVP development solutions of conceptualized ideas.

02 Prototyping

Participants are provided with WAZIUP IoT development kits and resources to build on Minimum Viable products for their solutions. WAZIHUB supports participants to build products and services validated and tested for their target audience.

03 Growth Hacking

The prototypes developed in WAZIHUB undergo business evaluation that aims at creating viable and replicable businesses out of the prototypes that were created in the prototyping phase of the innovation program.

The WAZIHUB project ended in July 2021 but we still continue to empowering innovative ecosystems equipped with sustainable solutions with the HUBiquitous project

Smart Village

WAZIHUB objective is primarily to boost innovation in Africa through IoT & Big Data and with that objective in mind, partners are engaging entrepreneurs in developing solutions for their cities as well as for the rural world.

The WAZIHUB Smart Village is an initiative supported by three partners of the project namely the University Gaston Berger, SONATEL & Orange with the aim to deploy a large-scale testing site for solutions developed for the rural areas. The University Gaston Berger which is located in the outskirts of the region of Saint-Louis hosts this initiative and pilot activities.

The Smart Village is an environment for real life testing of IoT solutions designed for the rural world.
